This is our planning for the prelium task. we had different ideas/plots, however we felt like our best idea was a detecive and robber interigation scene. we had mulitple editing, camerawork and sound effects ideas for our short video. As you can see in our mindmap. We thought about using selective sound when the detective is walking into the room. This is because it would create tention. We also were thinking about silence during the shot-reverse shot. Once again, this would create dramatic tention but it becomes mysterious to the audience with the question "what will happen next?" But we don't want to over do it with our video. We will be finding out what we think is best when we film and edit the video.
Planning
Leading on from the mind map we created a storyboard, this is to show what our shots will look like through the camera. Underneath each shot is a little description saying how many seconds there are for each shot, what camera angle is used etc for example we was thinking of having a recording effect on the camera to make it look like a CCTV camera. We was also thinking to have a close up on the door handle, this was to experiment wiht different types of camera angles.
Here is our group having a discusion about us planning for the filiming of the video. we talk about what we can bring in to use, what issues we could face, when we should meet up out side of lesson time etc. We wanted to make a recording of us talking about our plans because we thought it will give more of an insite and detail about our video/plan.
