Editing

We wanted to split the editing between us all again, just like the filming. This was because it gave us more of an experience with different types of technology and let us explore different way to fit  to the conventions of our genre.  I had the first section of the film opening, Ashlea had the montage and Ryan had the end of the film opening, even though we split the task between us, we all gave our opinion on different things and editing techniques, what could work or what we should try out. We found that adding in the clips was the easiest part however trying to fit in different types of transitions was the most the challenging part. Even though we did come across some difficulties we managed to add the variety of transitions, and we were pleased with how they turned out, we felt like they were well timed and had good flow to the opening. Ryan already knew quite a few editing skills, he helped me and Ashlea with the certain parts, to make sure we didn't fall behind on time and to make sure there was not editing mistakes. Me and Ashlea went to Ryan's house often to edit, when we did we spend around 2-3 hours, this worked very well. As a group I think we worked very well, we helped and supported each other, accepted each others opinions and learnt many skills. Overall we are pleased with how the editing turned out. Below you can see evidence of the group editing.
